About Aleisha
Aleisha’s interest in Chinese medicine began with a fascination for the way the Chinese medical tradition understands the interconnectedness between nature and the human body. She was drawn to the depth of these observations and the way natural rhythms and patterns were used to understand health and disease. Recognising the wisdom and complexity of this system, she knew it was something she could spend a lifetime studying and dedicate her career to.
This philosophy continues to guide her clinical approach today. Aleisha understands that a person’s health is shaped by many interconnected factors, including physical condition, emotional wellbeing, diet, exercise, lifestyle and relationships. Recognising that every individual is unique, she provides each patient with a personalised treatment and healthcare plan tailored to their specific needs and health goals.
Treatment Approach
Aleisha works with patients using a combination of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, moxibustion and cupping therapy. Her treatments are grounded in the principles of Chinese medicine while also integrating modern clinical understanding.
In addition to traditional diagnostic methods, Aleisha frequently reviews blood tests and medical reports to gain a broader picture of a patient’s health. She often works alongside Western medical care, supporting patients who are undergoing treatments such as IVF and helping them better understand how these treatments interact with their overall health.
Aleisha’s clinical style is thorough and collaborative. She looks beyond symptoms to identify the underlying patterns contributing to a patient’s condition, considering factors such as nervous system regulation, emotional wellbeing, lifestyle and diet. By addressing these interconnected aspects of health, her goal is to support meaningful and lasting improvements in her patients’ wellbeing.
